Railsponsible Supplier Award 2022

SNCB is proud to announce, together with the other members of Railsponsible, the Railsponsible Supplier Award 2022.

We would like to invite our suppliers of the rail industry to participate to the selection for the fifth edition of this prestigious award. The focus of this year will be on circularity.

The Railsponsible Supplier Award will be presented at Innotrans in Berlin, on 21 September 2022.

You will find more details and the application form here.

Registration closes on 30 July 2022.

Members of this initiative share the belief that sustainable purchasing creates value for companies as well as for society as a whole. Their vision is that of a rail industry in which all suppliers implement best practices – ethically, socially, environmentally and economically.

Ecovadis: evaluating our supplies

In order to gain insight into its suppliers' CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) processes, SNCB has chosen EcoVadis as its evaluation partner.

In 2019, SNCB had EcoVadis scores for around twenty of its suppliers.

What's more, SNCB has also undergone an EcoVadis assessment.

If your company is already using EcoVadis and you would like to share your score, please let us know by emailingsustainable.procurement@belgiantrain.be.
