What do we buy?
The SNCB Procurement Department purchases all of the equipment that a rail operator needs to function: rolling stock (locomotives, wagons, engines, etc.), common consumables, spare parts, workshop equipment and IT equipment.
Purchasing services (such as security, consulting, installation and cleaning) and various energy commodities (such as petroleum products and gas) is also part of our role.
