The Christmas tree that takes pride of place at the European Parliament arrives from Vienna on board of the Nightjet

Tonight, passengers on the Nightjet linking Vienna to Brussels have already had a taste of the Christmas atmosphere, thanks to the presence of a very special passenger: a Christmas tree that will take pride of place at the Brussels headquarters of the European Parliament.

This isn't the first time a Christmas tree from Austria has been transported by train to bring the magic of Christmas to the European Parliament. A sustainable tree opting for sustainable mobility!

The tree was carefully unloaded onto the platform and then transported to the European Parliament.

The Nightjet between Vienna and Brussels is the result of a partnership between Austrian rail operator ÖBB and SNCB.
