The summer months are ideal for relaxation and excursions, and what better way to get there than by train? If you want to travel as a couple, the Duo Ticket is just what you need. The popular Youth Holidays for young people are also back.

The Duo Ticket allows 2 people to travel for the price of one between 1 July and 3 September. This product, already very popular last summer, is ideal for leisure travellers.

Youth Holidays, which allows young people under the age of 26 to travel unlimited for a whole week (€19) or a whole month (€31) for a fixed price, is also being offered again for the period from 1 July to 3 September.

Both products can be purchased via the website, vending machines, the app or ticket offices.

This year, for adults over 26 who also want to relax during this period, SNCB is also offering an unlimited monthly pass, Off-Peak Unlimited. This pass gives them unlimited use of the train to any destination in Belgium for a whole month, for less than the price of a full tank of petrol, i.e. €59. It is valid on weekdays after 9am and all weekend and is available via the SNCB app from 27/6.

During the summer months, there is traditionally less commuter traffic. This is why SNCB will slightly reduce the number of trains on offer at peak times, taking into account the number of passengers and the capacity of the various trains running in Wallonia, Flanders and several regions. SNCB is also extending its offer to popular tourist destinations: theme parks, animal parks, the sea, the Ardennes, etc. Travellers are therefore advised to consult the travel planner before their departure.
