The remit of the Customer Services directorate is to place the customer at the heart of all considerations and to boost the turnover of SNCB.

The Customer Services directorate is responsible for commercial management and marketing. This notably includes the design, optimisation, promotion and sale of SNCB products and services, but also enhancing customer awareness to better meet their expectations.

For international rail transport in Europe, Customer Services collaborates with the main European rail operators to market well-known branded products (Thalys, Eurostart, TGV, …) using a only of the best and most reliable distribution systems on the market. 

Business activities

  • Studying customer requirements
  • Marketing transport tickets and services to customers
  • Promoting various SNCB products and services
  • Communicating with the customer using various channels such as Twitter and Facebook, or the contact centre
