What do you think about a little story to inspire you while waiting for the train or when in line to buy your ticket? At SNCB, we care about the well-being of our passengers. Waiting for a train can sometimes take some time, especially when your phone battery is dying and you don't have a book to hand. So we thought of you!

Visit the Concept Store or the Channel Terminal in Brussels South and you'll find a short story dispenser, a modern and innovative way to promote reading on public transport... and it’s free! It’s very first dispenser of its kind in Belgium!

In practice

These stories are written in French, Dutch and English and can be found in the Concept store and the channel terminal of Bruxelles-Midi. This dispenser provides travellers with short texts in digital version via a QR code but also in paper version. The theme of these stories will be regularly renewed.

Environmentally friendly

  • The dispensers are covid-proof thanks to their QR code and an infrared system
  • Ecological paper is used for printing (FSC certified paper) and thanks to the QR code, a digital version is available via smartphone.

Why don't we leave our smartphones behind for a few minutes and be inspired by these beautiful stories?

We wish you a pleasant journey!
