At NMBS/SNCB, we want our passengers to feel at home. How about a short story to while away the time as you wait for your train or queue for your ticket? A short-story dispenser is now available at the brand-new Concept Store as well as at the Channel Terminal at Brussels-Midi/Zuid. A new and innovative way of promoting reading in public transport!

Practical info

Short-story dispensers have been installed at the Concept Store and the Channel Terminal at Brussels-Midi/Zuid. Stories are available in French, Dutch and English. They supply customers with short stories in digital (via a QR code) and paper versions. The subject-matter of these stories is changed regularly.

This is the very first dispenser of its kind in Belgium!

NMBS/SNCB’s intention is to further improve its customer experience and brand image. This project is part of a process to improve passenger comfort and amenities in stations and on board trains. Further plans include umbrellas, libraries and lockers.

Environmentally friendly

  • With their QR- and infrared-based system, the dispensers require minimal to no contact and are perfectly safe to use.
  • The printed versions use environmentally friendly paper (FSC certified), and digital versions are available via QR codes.

We wish you a pleasant journey!
