No, your festival ticket is not valid as a train ticket. You need a FREE Pukkelpop E-train ticket. You can download this ticket on this page as from 24/07/2019 by using the NMBS/SNCB code on your festival ticket. This code starts with the number 0, capital letter i and the numbers 52.
You travel as follows according to your destination and departure:
  • Festival site, Camping Chill and Camping Comfy:
    • Outward journey to Kiewit station. If the train does not continue to Kiewit, change at Hasselt station to the train to Genk (on Thursday 15/08: shuttle train to Kiewit).
    • Homeward journey on Friday 16/08, Saturday 17/08 and Sunday 18/08 from Kiewit station.
     
  • Camping Relax:
    • Outward journey to Hasselt station and change to the De Lijn shuttle bus.
    • Homeward journey on Friday 16/08, Saturday 17/08 and Sunday 18/08 by De Lijn shuttle bus to Hasselt station and change to the train.
     
  • On Monday 19/08 you can take the train homewards at the earliest as from 9 a.m. from Hasselt station (not Kiewit station). De Lijn Shuttle buses bring you as from 8:30 a.m. from each of the 3 campsites to Hasselt station.
NEW: in the night of Sunday 18/08 to Monday 19/08/2019 extra night trains will ride from Kiewit station.
Please mind! To board a night train, you need an additional FREE Pukkelpop Night train E-ticket.
Especially for Pukkelpop, the train service will be considerably adapted to and from the stations of Kiewit and Hasselt:
  • On Thursday 15 August (outward journey), 4 extra trains will run from Bruges, Kortrijk, Ghent and Brussels to Hasselt. There will be a shuttle train from Hasselt to Genk with stop at Kiewit.
  • NEW: in the night of Sunday 18/08 to Monday 19/08/2019 extra night trains will ride from Kiewit station

  • On Monday 19 August (homeward journey), extra trains will leave Hasselt directly to Leuven (7), Antwerpen-Centraal (6) and Mechelen (1).

Yes, if you're departing from Brussels Airport - Zaventem station, you still have to buy two Diabolo fee tickets: one for your outward journey and one for your homeward journey.
Yes, you can combine a Pukkelpop E-train ticket with a (return) transport ticket that is valid on the foreign railway network until the Belgian border. From there, the E-train ticket is valid to the station of Kiewit or Hasselt. When downloading your E-train ticket, enter one of the following first Belgian stations as your departure station:
  • coming from The Netherlands: Essen (via Roosendaal), Noorderkempen (via Breda) or Visé (via Maastricht – Eijsden)
  • coming from Germany: Hergenrath
  • coming from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: Arlon, Athus or Gouvy
  • coming from France: Mouscron, Froyennes, Quiévrain, Quévy or Erquelinnes

Show your E-train ticket together with a (photo) ID upon ticket control on the train. Tip: keep your E-train ticket well during the festival; you still need it for the homeward journey!
E-train tickets are always nominative, so they cannot be passed on or sold.
E-train tickets cannot be exchanged, cancelled or refunded.
