App and MoBIB

If you want to transfer a Brupass from one personalised MoBIB card to another personalised MoBIB card, it is possible do so at SNCB ticket offices provided that the destination card has previously been registered at one of our ticket offices and it was SNCB that sold the Brupass.

It is not possible to transfer a Brupass from or to a Basic MoBIB card.
Yes, however we recommend that you use a second MoBIB card to distinguish between the two Brupass products. Using a second MoBIB card will ensure that you validate the correct ticket, according to your travel preferences (as it’s not always possible to specify where you want to travel to, depending on the transport network).
No, the digital ticket is an additional way to travel in and around Brussels on the network of the 4 public transport operators. It does not replace the Brupass (XL) 1 and 10 journey tickets on the MoBIB card.
No, Brupass (XL) tickets from your MoBIB card can only be used through the card itself. Conversely, a digital Brupass (XL) ticket purchased on your smartphone can only be used on your smartphone and not on the MoBIB card.
