Heat wave
On Thursday, August 13, and Friday, August 14, we will be taking precautionary measures due to the heat wave.
There may be a high number of passengers heading to the coast: you may need to wait at the station before being able to board a train with available seats.
We recommend that you:
- Plan your trip just before departure on sncb.be or the SNCB app and check your train’s occupancy rate.
- Avoid traveling during rush hour whenever possible (arrival at the Coast between 11 AM and 2 PM and departure from the Coast between 5 and 8 PM).
- Stay well-hydrated. Free drinking fountains are available at major stations.
