Locomotive Maintenance Services
With its experience of carrying out maintenance on its own rolling stock, SNCB-NMBS also offers maintenance services for third-party stock, such as locomotives and their components. This covers a large range of different services, from simple, light maintenance such as a sand replenishment, to an entire overhaul of the locomotive. SNCB-NMBS can also offer transformation work such as installing safety systems or completely repainting the locomotive.
For this purpose, SNCB-NMBS has various sites boasting modern and high-performing facilities situated throughout Belgium — including some right at the heart of strategic railway junctions.
