We're inviting you to settle in for a film that retraces 100 years of movement and connection across Belgium.

Comprising archival footage, symbolic imagery, and modern sequences, this film explores the role that trains play in our daily lives: yesterday, today, and tomorrow. It explains how rail transport evolved from the first-ever locomotives up until modern-day transport, and reminds us of an unwavering truth: trains play an essential role in connecting people.

This video was created to take viewers on a journey through time, blending collective memory and contemporary reality.

It's not just a glimpse into the past: it's a chance to look to the future, inviting us on the journey together.

Starting in September, a new exhibition, “Fashion & Trains”, from 1835 to the present day, will be open to the public at Train World, the SNCB museum.
