Come to the Dodentocht by train
Extra trains to Bornem
If you’re taking on the legendary 100km Dodentocht challenge in Bornem this year, SNCB-NMBS and the organizers are making it even more accessible with extra trains to Bornem. Plus, Bornem station is just a 5-minute walk from the starting point.
Trains to Bornem on Friday, August 14th
- Additional trains: for more travel comfort, 2 additional trains are scheduled on the Sint-Niklaas – Bornem – Mechelen line.
- From Brussels, your best option is to travel via Mechelen (approximately 1h). Travelling via Sint-Niklaas is also possible but takes longer (approximately 90 min).
- If you are coming from Antwerp, travelling via Puurs will be more comfortable.
- Travelling part of the way by car? Park at an NMBS-SNCB car park in Sint-Niklaas, Mechelen or Antwerp-Central and complete your journey by train.
Extra trains on 14/08/26 :
- Mechelen (17:55), Willebroek (18:09), Puurs (18:16), arriving in Bornem om 18:20
- Sint-Niklaas (19:02), Temse (19:12), arriving in Bornem 19:16
