The 2026 Field Hockey World Cup, co-hosted by Belgium and the Netherlands, will take place from 15 to 30 August 2026. For the first time, the men’s and women’s tournaments will be held simultaneously as part of one same event.

Half of the matches (including the men’s final) will be played at the brand-new Belfius Hockey Arena in Wavre. The other half will be played at the Wagener Stadion in Amstelveen, on the southern outskirts of Amsterdam.

Get there by train !

Parking around the stadium will be very limited. The train is therefore the best way to get to the World Cup in Wavre.

Wavre station is about a 15-minute walk from the Belfius Hockey Arena (with a signposted walking route). There are frequent trains, mainly from Brussels, Leuven, Ottignies, Namur and Charleroi.
