All about your journey to TW Classic

Extra night trains will be running from Leuven to one of 20 served stations. You can take a night train only with a TW Classic Nighttrain ticket. This ticket is valid as a reservation. The terminal station of the night train on your train ticket must therefore match the night train that you take.

You can of course get off at an earlier stop.

Your TW Classic Night Train Ticket gives you free access (from 18/06, 8am to 19/06, 8am) to one of the following NMBS car parks: Aalst, Denderleeuw, Gent-Sint-Pieters, Wetteren, Kortrijk, Deinze, Waregem, Roeselare, Mechelen and Antwerp-Central, where night trains stop.

Night trains also stop at these stations with free external parking: Liedekerke, Dendermonde, Kontich-Lint, Merelbeke, Harelbeke and Izegem.

The stations of Brussels North, Brussels Central, Brussels South, Mortsel-Oude-God and Antwerp-Berchem are also served by night trains, whose external car parks remain chargeable.

To access the NMBS car park before the concert:

  • from your car, press the flashing button next to the yellow slot of the entrance terminal
  • collect your entrance ticket
  • enter the car park and take the train to Leuven

After returning by night train:

  • Insert your parking ticket, which you received when you entered the car park, into the pay station
  • Scan the parking barcode on your train ticket
  • The rate will be 0€ and your parking ticket will be validated
No, the special De Lijn bus between Leuven station and the Werchter festival park is included in your train ticket.
At the control on the train during your outward journey.

There will be an access control before boarding the night train. As train tickets are personal, you will need to show your TW Classic train ticket with the correct code and your ID card.
The offer of night trains is determined by a commercial agreement with the festival organizer. The origin of the visitors is the basis for this.

TW Classic

The TW Classic festival uses a tried and tested recipe. It all harks back to the way we did things in Werchter until 1994: a beautiful summer’s day, a single stage in the festivalpark, a great, high-spirited audience and a select group of artists with an impressive track record. In the meantime, TW Classic has itself become classic. Resounding names like The Rolling Stones, The Police, Bryan Adams, Lenny Kravitz, Sting, Phil Collins, Elton John, Texas, Editors, Depeche Mode, Black Eyed Peas, Robbie Williams, Bon Jovi, Kraftwerk, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band and Guns N' Roses have already adorned the festival bill.
