With a few exceptions (i.e. on some international routes, such as EuroCity, EuroCity Direct, OUIGO, TGV INOUI and trains between Kortrijk or Tournai and Lille), it is no longer possible to buy a ticket on board the train.
Fortunately, it is now easier than ever to arrange your train ticket in advance and avoid a statement of irregularity. You can purchase your ticket via the website, app, ticket machine or ticket office. This way, you can quickly and easily ensure you have a valid ticket before you board.
