Workshop activities

The main activity of the Gentbrugge central workshop is to carry out large-scale refurbishments, upgrading and repairing freight wagons and their components. The workshop manages an advanced service station for wagons at the Zeebrugge site and manages a mobile team available for call-outs throughout the region and in particular in the port of Ghent Zeehaven. The workshop is also responsible for large-scale works to modernise electric multiple units and to fabricate work platforms for different SNCB workshops.
