You can download the Rock Werchter Train ticket only via sncb.be/rockwerchter, as from 12/06/2020 – 10 am. The only thing you need for this, is the SNCB code on your festival ticket. This code starts with the number 0, capital letter i and the numbers 51.

You can print the train ticket or save the PDF to your smartphone.
No, your festival ticket is not valid as a train ticket. You need a FREE Rock Werchter Train ticket, which you can download on this page as from 12/06/2020 – 10 am by using the SNCB code on your festival ticket. This code starts with the number 0, capital letter i and the numbers 51.

For travellers with a camping ticket for The Hive, The Hive My Space or The Hive Resort :

  • one outward and one homeward journey in 2nd class from each Belgian station to LEUVEN station in the period of Wednesday 01/07/2020 until Monday 06/07/2020 included;
  • the final outbound and inbound lap by extra buses of De Lijn between Leuven station and your campsite from 1 p.m. on 01/07/2020 until 1 p.m. on 06/07/2020.

 

For travellers with a camping ticket The Hive ADL or for those travelling to the Festival Park:

  • one outward and one homeward journey in 2nd class from each Belgian station to LEUVEN station in the period of Thursday 02/07/2020 until Monday 06/07/2020 included;
  • the final outbound and inbound lap by extra buses of De Lijn between Leuven station and your campsite or the Festival park from 7 a.m. on 02/07/2020 until 1 p.m. on 06/07/2020.

 

For travellers with a camping ticket Regular A1, C3 or C7:

  • one outward and one homeward journey in 2nd class from each Belgian station to AARSCHOT station in the period of Thursday 02/07/2020 until Monday 06/07/2020 included;
  • the final outbound and inbound lap by extra buses of De Lijn between Aarschot station and your campsite from 7 a.m. on 02/07/2020 until 1 p.m. on 06/07/2020.

NEW: after every festival day, 2 extra night trains will run from LEUVEN station directly to Antwerpen-Centraal (Antwerpen-Berchem after the 1st festival day) and to Gent-Sint-Pieters (via Brussels).

Yes, if you're departing from Brussels Airport - Zaventem station, you still have to buy two Diabolo fee tickets: one for your outward journey and one for your homeward journey.
Yes, you can combine a Rock Werchter Train ticket with a (return) transport ticket that is valid on the foreign railway network until the Belgian border. From there, your train ticket is valid to the station of Leuven or Aarschot.
When downloading your train ticket, enter one of the following first Belgian stations as your departure station:
  • coming from The Netherlands: Essen (via Roosendaal), Noorderkempen (via Breda) or Visé (via Maastricht – Eijsden)
  • coming from Germany: Hergenrath
  • coming from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: Arlon, Athus or Gouvy
  • coming from France: Mouscron, Froyennes, Quiévrain, Quévy or Erquelinnes

As Rock Werchter Train tickets are nominative, you must be able to present your train ticket together with your (photo) ID upon control on the train.
