SNCB-NMBS and De Lijn season ticket
- Your season ticket includes your train journey and access to the entire De Lijn network (except the Limburg express lines).
- The De Lijn season ticket can be combined with a Standard Season Ticket, Flex Season Ticket, Student Season Ticket or Unlimited Season Ticket.
- The total price of your combined season ticket is calculated by adding the De Lijn flat rate to the price of your SNCB-NMBS season ticket.

Do you have a personalised MoBIB card issued by another regional operator (STIB-MIVB, TEC or De Lijn) and not registered with the SNCB-NMBS? To activate your train subscription and any possible regional supplements, you must first have your MoBIB card registered at the ticket office of a station of your choice. If you have a personalised MoBIB card from STIB (with your name and photo on it), register it in our systems before buying your supplement online.
To purchase a new subscription for the first time, you have three options:
- Online via My SNCB-NMBS. Click “Buy a new subscription” and follow the steps until payment.
- A De Lijn supplement combined with a Flex Subscription can be purchased directly in the SNCB-NMBS app.
- At the ticket office of your chosen station, bringing:
- your electronic ID card
- your MoBIB card (if you already have one)
- your school certificate (if you wish to buy a Student Subscription and are over 18 years old)
If you do not yet have a personalised MoBIB card, you can buy one online (via your My SNCB-NMBS account) or at the ticket office for € 6 (or, if paid by your employer, upon presentation of your third-party payer certificate).
To activate your supplement, please scan your MoBIB card at an SNCB-NMBS ticket machine after each new online purchase or renewal.
You can easily renew your combined Season Ticket via:
- Online on My SNCB-NMBS
- In the SNCB-NMBS app for a combined Flex Season Ticket
- At the station, at the ticket counters or ticket machines
To activate your supplement, please scan your MoBIB card at an SNCB-NMBS ticket machine after each new online purchase or renewal.
SNCB-NMBS and De Lijn tickets in the app
Buy your De Lijn tickets and train tickets in one go with the SNCB-NMBS app.- De Lijn single ticket and 10-journey ticket
- Valid on the entire De Lijn network (except for express lines in Limburg).
- Valid for 1 year from the date of purchase and 60 minutes of use once activated.
- Single ticket = €2.5 / 10-journey ticket = €17.
- Non-exchangeable, non-refundable.
You must activate your ticket before boarding the vehicle. To activate it, go to the 'Purchases' menu, select the 'Active' tab and choose the De Lijn ticket you wish to activate by clicking 'Activate'.
Your ticket will then be generated for use. Only after activation will you be able to travel for 60 minutes on all De Lijn buses and trams (excluding the Limburg express lines).
When asked during inspections, show your activated ticket to the inspector. You may also receive a verification SMS on your mobile phone.

The minimum price for a train journey is €2.6 (rounded) in second class, whether you have Train+ or not.
The benefits and discounts linked to Train+ may evolve throughout the validity of your Train+. The conditions applicable are those in effect at the time of travel.
