7 steps to buying a season ticket online:
- Create a My SNCB-NMBS account free of charge (or register)
- Click on "buy a new season ticket"
- Choose your route and a season ticket
- Choose the class, period, duration and any De Lijn, STIB or TEC supplements
- Select a MoBIB card or request a new one
- Check your details and pay safely
- And there you go! Your season ticket is automatically loaded onto your existing MoBIB card or sent by mail within five working days.

To buy a new season ticket online via your My SNCB-NMBS account, you will need
- your identity card
- your MoBIB card (if you don't have one, you can order one for 6 euros)
- your third-party payer contract or your school certificate (in Jpeg, pdf or png format - maximum size 2 Mb)
- a method of payment accepted by the website (Bancontact, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Homebanking)
To buy a MoBIB card online, you also need a legal photo in digital format (eyes visible, no sunglasses, hat or cap, sufficiently clear - jpeg format - maximum size 1 Mb).
To buy a paper season ticket for the first time (Student Multi), go to the ticket office.
It is possible to order a renewal of your paper season ticket online via your My SNCB-NMBS account.
All season tickets on the MoBIB card (including those with a school certificate or third-party payment) can be purchased online.
- Season tickets for students: You must attach your school certificate in digital format when purchasing your season ticket online.
- Third-party payment season tickets: Enter the third-party payment code during the purchase process. This code can be found on your third party payment certificate.
If your certificate is out of date, the website's subscription purchase system will notify you when you renew.
To do this, you must create a My SNCB-NMBS account for your child using an e-mail address other than yours.
It is not possible to create or manage a season ticket for a child from his/her parent's My SNCB-NMBS account. Each child must have his/her own My SNCB-NMBS account.
To verify your child's My SNCB-NMBS account, you need the identity card (Kids-ID).
