  • validity of 1, 3 or 12 months (annual season ticket = 12 months for the price of 10)
  • in 1st or 2nd class
  • on your personal MoBIB card
  • can be combined with a season ticket for STIB/MIVB, De Lijn or LETEC 
  • preferential rate for SNCB car parks

There's a Cross-border Season ticket for commuting between a chosen Belgian station and:

  • Luxembourg (any Luxembourg station)
  • Lille Flandres + intermediate stops Tourcoing, Roubaix, Croix l'Allumette, Croix-Wasquehal, Baisieux, Ascq, Annappes, Pont de Bois, Hellemmes and Lezennes (not valid on TGV INOUI and Eurostar)
  • Maubeuge
  • Aachen (not valid on ICE and Eurostar)
  • Maastricht + intermediate stops Eijsden and Maastricht Randwijck
  • Breda
  • Roosendaal

Practical info

To buy your first Standard Season Ticket, you've got two options :

  • Online via My SNCB-NMBS. Click 'Buy new subscription' and follow the steps up to the payement screen.

  • At the ticket counter at a station of choice with:
    • your electronic ID card
    • your MoBIB card (if you already have one)

Don't have a MoBIB card yet? No problem! You'll get one online or at the counter for a processing fee of € 5 when buying your first season ticket.

Online:

  • log into your My NMBS/SNCB-NMBS account (or create an account)
  • choose the season ticket option that you would like to renew and renew it!

In station:

  • at the ticket office
  • at the ticket machines
  • If you are a cross-border employee with a Belgian employer in the private sector (subject to Belgian labour law), then your employer is required to cover the cost of your season ticket for commuting. However, the 80/20 third-party payment system (offering free travel to employees) does not apply to cross-border season tickets.
