Does your employer cover the cost of your train season ticket? Find out about our Flex Season Ticket solutions with Third-party payment.

If you travel on average 2 to 3 times a week on the same route, consider the Flex Season Ticket 10.

  • 10 days of travel to be used within 1 month
  • valid on a fixed route in 2nd or 1st class
  • only available in the SNCB App
  • unlimited travel on your route during the whole day for each day of travel validated in the app
  • can be combined with any SNCB parking product

Buying and activating a Flex Season Ticket

The Flex Season Ticket is recommended if you travel to your workplace on average 2 to 3 times a week on average.

If you travel more than 3 times a week on the same route, the Standard Abonnement is still more advantageous. If you travel less than twice a week, other products (like tickets or Multi) may be more appropriate than a season ticket.

Fares vary according to the distance of the chosen journey, the format of the Flex Season Ticket (6, 10, 80 or 120 days) and the travel class (1st or 2nd class)

Initially, only employer paid Flex Season Tickets under a Third-party payment contract are offered in several versions.

For operational reasons, the launch of the Flex Season Ticket (starting in the first quarter of 2023) will be phased in. If you buy your Flex Season Ticket yourself, it is currently only available in the Flex Season Ticket 10 version (10 travel days to be used within a period of 1 month).

Other versions of Flex Season Ticket will be offered in the future..

If you don't have a My SNCB account yet, create one for free via the SNCB app in the My SNCB section.

Then go to the app's Purchases sestion, and:

  1. Select ‘New Purchase
  2. Choose the ‘Flex / Multi’ tab
  3. Enter your departure and arrival station
  4. Select the product called Flex Season Ticket 10
  5. Choose your travel class (1st or 2nd class)

And that's it! Once you've paid, you're done. You can now enjoy 10 days of travel on a defined route.

Don't forget: on the day you decide to travel, make sure you validate your day of travel before boarding your first train of the day. To do this, simply go to the 'Purchase' section and click on 'Validate a day of travel'. A QR code will be generated in the SNCB App.

Do you get to the station by car? You can combine your Flex Season Ticket with a one-month season ticket for the SNCB car park of your choice at the preferential rate for rail passengers.

If you want to take a Parking ticket, simply go to the station ticket office of your choice with your personalised MoBIB card and show  your active Flex Season Ticket.

The Parking season ticket will be loaded onto your personalised MoBIB card registered with the SNCB so that you can enter and leave the car park at any time. If you don't have a personalised MoBIB card registered with the SNCB, you'll get one at the counter for € 6.

Not at first.

In the launch phase, only employer-financed Flex Season Tickets (as part of a Third-party payment contract) can be combined with a supplement for the STIB/MIVB, De Lijn or TEC transport networks. These supplements are therefore not yet available in combination with a Flex Season Ticket 10 purchased personally..

Our range of Flex Season Tickets will be extended in the future.

Yes, if you buy a season ticket for your commute, your employer is obliged to refund all or part of it to you. Do not hesitate to contact your employer to find out what reimbursement conditions apply in your company.

When you have used up your 10 travel days or when the validity date has passed, you can no longer validate travel days. To continue travelling with a Flex Season Ticket, you must purchase a new Flex Season Ticket.

  • Log out and try to log in again. Then a new session will start and your data will be retrieved again. Normally, your Flex Abo should now be visible.
  • Perhaps you have a second account? Try logging in with that. Have you forgotten your password? Via "Forgot password" you can reset your password.
Go to a station ticket counter with your personalised MoBIB card to renew your parking pass. You will be asked to present your active Flex Season Ticket. The parking pass will be linked to your MoBIB card. Please note that Flex Season Ticket 10 can only be combined with a 1-month parking pass.

Using your Flex Season Ticket
