Don't have a MoBIB card yet? No problem! You'll get one online or at the counter for a processing fee of € 6 when buying your first season ticket  (or, if your employer pays for it, on presentation of your third-party payer certificate).

Do you have a personalised MoBIB card issued by another regional operator (STIB-MIVB, TEC or De Lijn) and not registered with the SNCB-NMBS? To activate your train subscription and any possible regional supplements, you must first have your MoBIB card registered at the ticket office of a station of your choice. If you have a personalised MoBIB card from STIB (with your name and photo on it), register it in our systems before buying your supplement online.

Buy your season ticket:

  • Online via My SNCB-NMBS. Click 'Buy new subscription' and follow the steps up to the payment screen.
  • A STIB-MIVB supplement combined with a Flex Season Ticket can be purchased directly in the SNCB-NMBS app
  • At the ticket counter at a station of choice

You will need:

  • your electronic ID card
  • your personnalised MoBIB card (if you already have one)
  • your completed school certificate if you are 18+ and want to buy a Student Season Ticket

If you combine your Flex Abonnement ((only available in the app) with a TEC supplement, the TEC supplement will be loaded onto your personalised MoBIB card.

To activate your supplement, please scan your MoBIB card at an SNCB-NMBS ticket machine each time you make a new online purchase or renewal.

TEC has changed the name of its HORIZON season ticket to CLASSIC. To renew your SNCB-NMBS + TEC Horizon season ticket, simply choose the SNCB-NMBS+TEC Classic season ticket.

TEC is discontinuing Next season tickets in favour of Classic season tickets, which allow you to travel on the entire TEC network (excluding Express). To renew your SNCB-NMBS + TEC NEXT season ticket, you must apply for a new parent card and opt for a brand new SNCB-NMBS + TEC CLASSIC combined season ticket. You can do this online or at the ticket office.

Please note that if your employer has issued a certificate mentioning the TEC NEXT combined season ticket, you must ask them to issue a new certificate with the SNCB-NMBS + TEC Classic combined season ticket.

  • The majority of your train pass and of your supplement is legally required to be reimbursed by the employer of the private sector. So you can take unlimited trains between home and office for an average of 28,20% of the cost of a 2nd class pass. If your employer enters into a third party payer agreement for commuting with SNCB-NMBS, you only have to pay your own part at the time of purchase and no longer have to advance the full amount.
  • If your employer has concluded a third-party payer agreement for the parking with SNCB-NMBS, you can also park entirely free of charge in a parking at the station (subject to availability).
  • Contact your HR or mobility manager for the possibilities.
