Assist room for passengers with reduced mobility
At Bruxelles-Midi/Brussel-Zuid station, passengers with reduced mobility who have booked assistance service can check in at this new room and wait there before being accompanied to the platform.
Opening hours
This area is open every day from the first train in the morning until the last train in the evening.
Free access:
- from 6.15 am to 8 pm from Monday to Friday
- from 7.15 am to 8 pm on weekends and public holidays
Outside these hours, you can use the call button in front of the Assist room. A member of our staff will open the door for you.
Location within the station

FAQ
SNCB staff are present in the Assist room or nearby every day between 6.30 am and 8 pm.
Before 6.30 am and after 8 pm, you can press the call button at the entrance to the reception area to let one of our staff members know you’re there, and they’ll let you in.
If you have not booked assistance in advance, our assistance staff will do their utmost to arrange assistance for you where possible. However, they cannot guarantee assistance for an immediate departure or in the event that the necessary equipment or staff are unavailable.
In the meantime, you can safely and comfortably wait in our Assist room where we will monitor your situation and attend as soon as possible.
